Cookie policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Under the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), websites must tell you about them and ask permission for any that aren't strictly necessary.
What this website uses
Wright Tech's website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and doesn't use analytics cookies.
To understand which pages bring in enquiries, the website briefly remembers, only while your browser tab is open, how you arrived (for example from a Google search) and the first page you visited. This uses your browser's session storage, not a cookie, is never shared with advertisers and is cleared when you close the tab. It is only sent to us if you choose to send an enquiry or tap our phone number.
Third-party services
- Google MapsThe embedded map is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies when you view it. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google FontsLoads the typefaces this website uses. It does not set cookies, but your browser connects to Google to fetch them.
- WordPressThe website software may set strictly necessary cookies, for example to remember a comment form or keep administrators logged in.
Strictly necessary storage
Some small pieces of information are needed for the website to work at all, for example to remember your cookie choice so we don't ask you on every page, or to stop our enquiry form being used to send spam. The law allows these without asking first, and they are never used to track you across other websites.
What we don't do
- We don't use cookies to show you adverts, on this website or anywhere else.
- We don't sell or share information from cookies with advertisers or data brokers.
- We don't use cookies to build a profile of you.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings at any time, and the website will still work. In most browsers the setting is under Settings, then Privacy (Chrome, Edge and Firefox), or Settings, then Safari, then Privacy on an iPhone or iPad. Your browser's help pages explain how to clear the cookies for one website or for every website you've visited. If you block every cookie, some other websites may not work as well, so you may prefer to clear them for this website only.
Changes to this policy
If we add a new service that uses cookies, we'll update this page before it goes live and, where your permission is needed, ask for it first. The date at the top shows when this page last changed.
