Wright Tech privacy policy
This page explains what happens to the details you send Wright Tech in Great Yarmouth through our enquiry form, by email or on WhatsApp, and how to ask us about them.
- We only keep the details you choose to send us
- We never sell your details or pass them to marketers
- Email or call us to see, correct or delete your data
What information we collect
Wright Tech collects only the details you give us when you get in touch: usually your name, your email address or phone number, your business name and a short description of the website or CGI work you need.
We do not ask for more than we need to reply to you. If we go on to build your website, we will also hold the information needed to do the job, such as your logo, photos, page copy, domain details and login details for services you ask us to connect, like a booking tool or your Google reviews.
We do not collect special category data (health, religion, political opinions and similar) and we ask you not to send it to us.
How we use your details
We use your details to answer your enquiry, prepare a fixed price quote and, if you go ahead, to design and build your website or CGI visuals. That is the whole list.
In practice this means:
- Replying to your message by email, phone or WhatsApp, whichever you used to contact us
- Sending you a written quote with the price agreed upfront
- Keeping in touch during a project about drafts, changes and launch
- Letting you know about renewals or updates that affect your own website
We do not add you to a marketing list and we do not send newsletters. If you contacted us about web design in Great Yarmouth and decided not to go ahead, we will not keep chasing you.
Enquiry form, email and WhatsApp
Each way of contacting us works slightly differently, so here is what happens to your message on each route.
Enquiry form. Anything you type into the form on our contact page is sent to our email inbox at steven@wrighttechnology.co.uk. The form asks only for your name, a way to reach you and your message.
Email. Messages sent to steven@wrighttechnology.co.uk are stored in our email account so we can refer back to your requirements while we work together.
WhatsApp. Messages sent to 07717 253794 arrive on our business mobile. WhatsApp is run by Meta and handles your messages under its own privacy policy, which you can read inside the app. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, email or the enquiry form work just as well.
Who we share your details with and how long we keep them
We do not sell, rent or trade your details with anyone. We share them only where it is needed to deliver your project, for example with the company that registers your domain or hosts your website, and only the details that service needs.
We keep enquiry details for as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry and any project that follows. Project files such as logos, photos and copy are kept while we look after your website so we can make changes when you ask. If you want something deleted sooner, tell us and we will remove it unless we have a legal reason to keep it, such as invoices for accounting.
If the law requires us to hand over information, for example to a court or regulator, we will do so.
Cookies on this website
Like most websites, this site may set a small number of cookies so that pages load and the enquiry form works correctly. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so may stop some parts of the site working as intended, but you can still reach us by phone or email.
Your rights under UK data protection law
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to know what we hold about you and to control it. You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal details we hold about you and send you a copy
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- Delete your details where we no longer need them
- Stop using your details for a particular purpose
- Send your details to you or another provider in a usable format

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
